Our very typical touristy day in London that ended off on an untypical note.
This is our first official day in London and we’re super pumped to check off some must-visits on our list such as Notting hill, Abbey Road and Soho!
After yesterday’s exhilarating time watching the Manchester United match live, we were super pumped up about returning to Old Trafford today for the stadium tour!
The planning of our UK trip was centered around this day — a match day at Manchester United’s homeground, Old Trafford. This was Manchester United’s last game of the season. It has been Anders’s lifelong dream to watch a match here. And United definitely did us proud that day!
Since we were staying just 1.6miles away from the city centre, a.k.a the happening area of York, we figured why not just have a slow stroll over. We planned to spend half a day in York which was just right before we get overwhelmed by the influx of tourists.
I’m so excited to finally start writing about all our experiences we had in England! Let’s get started from the pretty town of Alnwick!

Despite being a little sad to bid Scotland goodbye, we were very much looking forward to our drive towards England for more wonderful adventure!
