The planning of our UK trip was centered around this day — a match day at Manchester United’s homeground, Old Trafford. This was Manchester United’s last game of the season. It has been Anders’s lifelong dream to watch a match here. And United definitely did us proud that day!
Since we were staying just 1.6miles away from the city centre, a.k.a the happening area of York, we figured why not just have a slow stroll over. The walk took us less than an hour including time where we stopped randomly to take photos. In addition, the thought of finding parking space within the city just irked us out. We planned to spend half a day in York which was just right before we get overwhelmed by the influx of tourists.
Our last day in Scotland has arrived. Many wonderful memories has been made in this amazing country and even a change in life status (engaged!!! read day 5 post) happened there. Despite being a little sad to bid Scotland goodbye, we were very much looking forward to our drive towards England for more wonderful adventure!
"Somewhere charming with little towns"
"Surrounded by mountain and near the sea"
"Scenic route for a roadtrip"
These were what I suggested when he asked where we should go for our next holiday. I'm pretty sure you can already guess where we finally decided to go by the title!
